Karl W. Peterson - Research Engineer / Scientist 1 / Ph.D. Candidate Mr. Karl Peterson is a full-time Research Scientist/Petrographer with a focus on the microstructure of building materials. He is currently involved in a number of projects for the Michigan Department of Transportation, the South Dakota Department of Transportation, the Wisconsin Department of Transportation, the Federal Highway Administration, the National Cooperative Highway Research Program, and the Innovative Pavement Research Foundation investigating concrete pavement durability and performance. Mr. Peterson is a well-published and respected petrographer whose creative talents and endless curiosity are of immeasurable value to the cement and concrete research effort at Michigan Tech. |
